Southern Oregon University has rolling admissions, meaning you may apply and be admitted any time throughout the year. When your application is complete and we have received all required documents, your admission decision will take between two and three weeks.
Whether you are a freshman, transfer, international or graduate student, you’ll need to choose a program and find its specific requirements. Follow these four simple steps to apply to SOU.
After your application is complete, submit your supporting documents, apply for housing, and learn more about financial aid opportunities. This is a great time to visit SOU.
Now it’s time to get Raider Ready! Complete online orientation, advising & registration, connect to campus, and start planning. Keep up with your next steps to ensure a smooth transition!
Before starting your application, review the SOU admission requirements closely. Requirements may include specific coursework and a minimum GPA, among others. SAT or ACT test scores are optional. If you do not meet the criteria listed, please contact us for options.
